Course Outline
The 1st amendment to 17th edition of the wiring regulations comes into force on the 1st January 2012. From this date onwards all installation work must comply with this standard. Our courses are designed to give practicing electricians the opportunity to get to grips with the new changes while also increasing their knowledge of the wider requirements of the regulations.

Course Contents
On days one and two of the course we cover all of the theory work with revision and the exam on day three.

The course covers all aspects of the wiring regulations starting off with the scope of the regulations and fundamental principles, moving on to the definitions section, defining all the terms used in the regulations.

The course continues with assessment of general characteristics, protection for safety, selection and erection of equipment.

Next the course looks into inspection and testing of electrical installations and concludes with the final section covering the 16 special locations including requirements for bathrooms, swimming pools and saunas.

This course is designed to give the delegates the ability and confidence to be able to use and understand the wiring regulations in their day to day work.
