Awareness: Vibration Analysis

Course Outline
Vibration analysis is the science of looking at the mechanical vibrations given off by rotating equipment such as motors and then using this information to detect faults in components like bearings and gearboxes.

Based around the latest equipment used for vibration analysis, this course introduces you to the subject and shows you how simple it can be to carry out this type of work as part of a predictive maintenance program.

Course Contents

The course starts with an introduction to the theory surrounding this subject and looks at how it can be used as part of a predictive maintenance program.

The course then develops to look at the test equipment used to measure vibration and diagnose the faults. During the course delegates will be shown how to setup the tester and take measurements to get reliable and repeatable results.

The course concludes with a Q&A session giving those attending the chance to ask questions and seek clarification and guidance on all vibration analysis issues.

Target Audience
This course is aimed at anyone requiring an introduction to Vibration Analysis. Those who have recently purchased a vibration analyser or need further information prior to purchasing would be ideal candidates for this course.
